Online Spanish Film Club - Contracorriente

Spanglish Online Film Club is a series of films in Spanish which take you closer to the Spanish-Latino culture. The space has been created for Spanish film lovers, filmmakers, Spanish language lovers, Latinos, film students or simply film fans. 

How does it work?  

The Club lasts two hours, there are two virtual tables (when possible (Intermediate and advance)) of max 6 people, 5 participants and 1 native speaker. We first get to know each other. Then, we discuss the film plot, characters, cinematography, story, set and the actual meaning of the film. Please watch the film first. Then, book your place only if you are 100% sure to join as your participation is very important for this event.

Level of Spanish? 

Intermediate and advance. No suggested for beginners. Please get in touch if you want some Spanish lessons.

Undertow is a 2009 internationally co-produced drama film directed by Javier Fuentes-León and marks his directorial long-feature debut. Initial financing came from Germany and France with additional financing from Peru (Google).
